The event aims to answer the question on how we can maximize the impact of academic research, the scaling-up and replicability opportunities of pilot projects, and the added value of local bottom-up initiatives, in relation to complex challenges posed by the smart city/region approach. It will be held in Bolzano, Italy during December 9-13, 2019 with a theme of “turning visionary approaches into planning policies and tools”.

Since 2015, SSPCR – a high-level international communication platform for academics, researchers, professionals, and decision-makers – is the right place to discuss your latest experiences and findings and to share your thoughts in a friendly atmosphere.

The call for proposals is articulated in six thematic tracks. You are welcome to propose a session, a speech or a poster on your recent research or project’s achievements.

For the event, 200 participants from more than 20 countries will be gathered in the beautiful city of Bolzano. The conference comprises plenary as well as thematic parallel sessions, posters exhibition, cultural and social activities.
