Triangulum is one of 14 European Smart Cities and Communities Lighthouse Projects (SCC1) funded by the European Union’s Research and Innovation Framework Programme Horizon 2020. Having started in February 2015, Triangulum is one of the first three projects completing this journey with its three Lighthouse Cities Manchester (UK), Eindhoven (NL) and Stavanger (NO), where innovative projects focusing on sustainable mobility, energy, ICT and business opportunities have been implemented and tested. The project consortium combines interdisciplinary experience and the expertise of 22 partners from industry, research and municipalities that share the same objective and commitment to develop and implement smart solutions and have them replicated in the three Fellow Cities Leipzig (D), Prague (CZ) and Sabadell (ES).

As the project is coming to an end, Triangulum will organise an international conference where the project’s numerous outcomes and lessons learnt will be shareed with the smart city community and the public. In its second day, the event will merge into the Nordic Edge 2019.
