The EIP-SCC will host its yearly General Assembly in time for RUGGEDISED’s URBIS Smart City Fair (2-3 September, Brno, Czech Republic). It will feature high level speakers that will talk about the challenges and opportunities cities faced during the COVID-19 pandemic. They will also discuss Europe’s efforts to push for a sustainable urban transition, i.e. strategies like the EU Green Deal, and Recovery Plans, and continue their dialogue on up-scaling and replicating smart city solutions.

Other sessions present in the General Assembly are focused on issues such as citizen engagement, business models, financing, the role of smart energy systems, and many more.

Unlike the previous years, the general assembly will be available in a hybrid format (both online and on-site in Brno).
